Total Duration : 5 Days | May 2022
Singapore, a tiny island nation, may be small in size, but it is mighty in experience. With its stunning attractions, vibrant culture, and world-class cuisine, Singapore offers something for everyone. I recently visited this beautiful country with my wife and parents between 27th May and 31st May and we had a fantastic time exploring the city. We stayed in the vibrant area of Clarke Quay, which was a perfect location for exploring the city.
Our first day started with a visit to the world-renowned Changi Airport, which is considered one of the best airports in the world. It was amazing to see the sheer size of the airport, and the various attractions it has to offer. We spent a couple of hours exploring the butterfly garden, which was a beautiful sight to behold.
Next, we visited the SEA Aquarium, which is located on Sentosa Island. This aquarium is one of the largest in the world, and it was fascinating to see the different species of marine life. We saw sharks, stingrays, and many other fascinating creatures. We also visited the Garden by the Bay, which is a stunning nature park that is home to a vast array of plants and flowers. The Supertree Grove was particularly impressive, and we enjoyed the nightly light show that takes place in the park.
One of our favorite attractions was the Jurong Bird Park, which is a must-visit for bird lovers. We saw many different species of birds, including penguins, flamingos, and parrots. We also watched a bird show, which was entertaining and informative.
The Singapore Zoo was another highlight of our trip. It is a world-class zoo that is home to many exotic animals, including orangutans. We enjoyed watching the animals in their natural habitat and learning about their behavior. We also saw a panda and her cub in the river wonders park. The Night Safari was also a unique experience of seeing nocturnal animals in their natural habitat. We saw many animals, including deer, elephants, and tigers, and it was a thrilling experience.
We spent a day at the Universal Studios, which was an exciting experience. The park has a variety of rides and attractions, and we particularly enjoyed the Transformers ride and the Jurassic park ride. Then we visited the Wings of Time show, which features a combination of water, fire, and laser effects, and tells a story through music and dance. It was a great way to end our day.We took a ride on the Singapore Cable Car back to hotel, which provided breathtaking views of the city. We saw the city skyline and the sea, and it was a unique experience.
We spent a day at the COVE Water Park, which was a fun-filled day of water activities. The park has a variety of water slides and pools, and we particularly enjoyed the lazy river ride. We also visited the Dolphin Island, which is located within the park, and had a chance to swim with the dolphins.
Overall, our trip to Singapore was a memorable one. We were impressed by the city’s cleanliness, efficient transportation system, and friendly people. The Indian restaurants we visited in Singapore were also excellent, and we enjoyed trying out different cuisines. If you’re planning a trip to Singapore, I highly recommend visiting the attractions we visited. You won’t be disappointed!
